Hi Frank, I just wanted to thank you for fixing our roof and the drywall damaged from the leak. The leak came right after we moved in and we still had not sold our previous house, so it was a huge relief that you helped us out by honoring the guarantee from the previous owners. Frank and his contractors show up on time, clean up, are polite and are professional. The renovation was on schedule, on budget and we are very satisfied. We had a family room renovated and windows replaced.

We called Frank after seeing his advertisements in the mail. His receptionist was very helpful setting up a time for an estimate. We needed a roof, siding, windows, front door, and a door removed. My husband has been in construction so he would know if anything he was saying wasn't right. Frank was on time [and] pleasant. He sent out an estimate within two days and came back to finalize within two weeks upon our request. Our work is almost complete. My husband has been impressed by the workers. They have done a beautiful, top rate job. The men are pleasant and when they leave each day our property is clean. We have had neighbors stop us and tell us how great it looks.

Frank Ramsden's crew gutted our hall and master bath. They moved a spare bedroom wall in order to make both bathrooms a bit bigger, and rearranged a hall linen closet, helping to make the bedroom closet larger. The entire process took about a month. The crew arrived each morning on schedule, they were courteous, always left the job site clean, and worked efficiently. The carpenters, electricians, plumbers, tile work, painter, etc., were all coordinated on a timely schedule so there was never any lag time waiting for the next step to occur. Communication was always very clear as to what to expect. As with any major home renovation, there was some inconvenience and it required patience on our part, but it was well worth it in the end. We are very pleased with the end result.

Frank replaced a 15 year old roof on my home. He was straightforward with the price and what it included and made several recommendations which I accepted. His crew came as promised and the work was finished in a few days. They had enough people on the job to finish the work quickly. They did an excellent job overall and they protected the shrubs well when they were working - they did so well on the cleanup, even used magnets to search for stray nails - that there was no evidence the roof was replaced except for the new roof. We had a question in the color selection and Frank provided locations where he had done similar color roofs, it helped greatly in the selection. In summary very satisfied with all aspects of the work.

Frank Ramsden's workers replaced my roof, rain gutters and downspouts, front door, rear door, basement double door, garage entrance door and one window. All work was done very professionally. Workers are highly skilled and arrived at my home on the appointed date, at the appointed time. The job site was left neat and orderly each day, and no trash or debris was left in sight. I give this company a very high rating compared to the peer group. They know what they are doing, have fair prices and complete the work with a highly skilled crew. I was very satisfied with how the job went from start to finish. Workers arrived as promised, and stayed for the entire day. The work was completed in an appropriate time frame. I had no issues during the process and would use this contractor again.

We had three outside walls that had been exposed to water. The base plates and the lower 12 inches of the studs had rotted. Frank devised an efficient way to make the necessary repairs. The job was completed quickly and the replacement of the siding was expertly done. The finished edge, at ground level, was visually and functionally much improved over the original walls. Frank and his team removed the siding and all sheathing to expose water damaged plates and studs. They examined all areas well into the dry area of walls to form the most efficient method of securing the foundation. Our original plates were not made of treated wood. Some of our studs had rotted up about 12 inches. We had several bids before selecting Frank A. Ramsden Contractors and found his solutions matched our research with some improved ideas. They worked quickly and efficiently: 1. Removed siding and sheathing 2. Covered all exposed areas with plastic & wood panels where necessary for overnight moisture protection. 3. Did all sawing on the outside of our home, saving our walls and electrical connections. 4. When excessive pressure was needed on the outside, a member of the team held a covered block of wood against the inside family room wall to prevent our paneling from buckling. 5. Sheathing and Tybek were secured and the siding was reapplied. 6. The Patio and walkway were cleaned and an excellent repair was completed.
